This video shows how Farming Systems Kenya helped John Kihaki and his family increase his crop yield; shows the women of Katosi, Uganda hiring men to do their fishing and using the profits to start their own businesses; AIDS orphans Florence and Jimmy in Rakai, Uganda learning skills at the Kiteredde Construction Institute (KCI) with which to support their families and provide hope for the future; and looks at irrigation projects in Ethiopia, part of a three-way partnership of the local Mekane Yesus Church, Lutheran World Federation and Lutheran World Relief.
